The task at hand

When creating a new publication spending a little extra time to create style packs, page headers, page numbers and other content to build up a CC Library. This will help me to be as efficient as I can be when putting together content.

Liaising

Over the years I've built up strong relationships with advertisers. It's important to have a good rapport.

Every magazine is different and has different requirements. To help make the process as efficient as possible, the creation of a bespoke media pack with all the information an advertiser would need inside.

This included a glossary of print terms as not every point of contact was a graphic designer and would help bridge the gap.

Other things such as front cover templates were created to streamline this process also.

Content Creation

The majority of the magazines content was designed by me, internally and externally.

Communication with businesses is important to find out their wants and needs, to help keep amendments to a minimum.

Being able to follow internal brand guidelines as well external companies.

Proofs, preflight and printers
